A blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache Noir with yields of 45-35HL per hectare. Hand harvested in bins and selected directly at the vineyard, the grapes are de-stemmed and vinified by plot and varietal in small capacity thermo regulated stainless steel vats. Macerated for 21 days, manual “pigeages” and “delestage.” 100% aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months. Elegantly balanced, smooth and full bodied with aromas of ripe summer berries. A long finish and a hint of peppery spice, this deep ruby red cru has a cellar potential of 5-7 years. Bottled on the domaine.
Winner of the Vintner’s award 2017 of La Livinage, selected as an ambassador wine for the Cru La Livinière appellation.
