Made of 100% Carignan grapes from a single plot of over 60 year old vines with a yield of 25HL per hectare. Hand harvested in bins and selected directly at the vineyard, the grapes are de-stemmed and vinified in small capacity thermo regulated stainless steel vats. Macerated for 21 days, manual “pigeages” and “delestage.” 100% aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Full of character and structured tannins with deep, late-summer fruit flavors, a hint of wild herbs and balanced acidity throughout. This exceptional vibrant ruby red Carignan has a cellar potential of 6-8 years. Bottled on the domaine, limited lot 1,800 bottles.
